I just found your blog and I think it is wonderful! I studied linguistics and German in college and am very interested in child language acquisition. As well, I am trying to figure out the best way to teach my future children to speak German.
I am fully bilingual (English, Afrikaans). My home language as a child was English, also now. I find I dream in the "situation-appropriate" language, mostly English.
However, often I do not consciously use a language to communicate in dreams, even though I am speaking. Does that make sense? I thought that happened to everyone.
